12 MONTHS, ZERO ALCOHOL - A COMPLETE LIFE TRANSFORMATION
I knew Ben Carty in a different life,
He was a pretty loose unit
I remember thinking after the first time I met him probably 20 years ago,

But times change,
Kids come along,
And a year and a half ago, he reached out for some help
Benny was never overweight,
But, his weekends were lost to hangovers,
And with a couple of kids and a beautiful misso,
That’s never going to be sustainable.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲,
He became a leader,

I think the lads really looked up to him
A super successful builder with his company Boom Build
That had drawn a line in the sand, to work on is health as well.
I spent some beautiful time last week,
Training and catching up with Ben,
Deep, inspiring conversation,
With a bloke that has now gone an entire year without booze,
Has taken up meditation,
And he is so fricken self-aware
He is still ‘𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥’ in life,
But in a completely different way
I love having men like Carts around me,
It makes me a better person,
