I WISH I HAD A MAGIC WAND

In society, ⁣
⁣
We tell each other things like ‘𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳’⁣
⁣
Or⁣
⁣
It’s ‘𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘶𝘭𝘵’⁣
⁣
But I actually think that gives us a false sense of entitlement…⁣
⁣
Like someone is coming to save us…⁣
⁣
It strips us of ‘𝘰𝘸𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵’⁣
⁣
When the actual fact is, ⁣
⁣
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞⁣
⁣
And that sounds harsh, but it’s not meant harshly⁣
⁣
I thought I deserved better, ⁣
⁣
And that my ‘𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴’ was not my fault, ⁣
⁣
Truth is, it was my fault⁣
⁣
Because I waited for someone to help me, ⁣
⁣
Rather than take control, ⁣
⁣
I waited until I hit rock bottom to act⁣
⁣
I hoped for things to get better, ⁣
⁣
Nothing at all changed until I did something about it…⁣
⁣
𝐒𝐨, 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝, ⁣
⁣
I’d wave it over you and say,⁣
⁣
‘I wish for you to realise just what you can do if you start now’⁣
⁣
And I mean, GO ALL IN! ⁣
⁣
Not this toe-dipping thing, ⁣
⁣
Like, ALL IN! ⁣
⁣
Completely SCRAP your current environment, ⁣
⁣
And decide to love yourself, so you can fully love others,⁣
⁣
Coaching is emotionally hard at times, ⁣
⁣
Because you just want everyone to win, ⁣
⁣
But you can’t win it for them…
