FEEL LIKE THIS IS YOUR 'BEFORE' PHOTO?
Today, I made my first ever snowman
When Oshyn and I stood back to admire our work,
She pointed at it, and made a sound,
My daughter can’t talk yet,
But it sounded like she said… ‘𝘍𝘢𝘵’
(𝘐𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘤, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘶𝘣𝘣𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘩𝘢)
But it caught my attention,
𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐱 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤
Who said his 6-year old son ‘𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬’
‘𝘏𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦’
𝐀𝐬 𝐢𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠
These little humans are so perceptive,
They use their eyes a lot more than their ears
And in this mind programming period from 0-7 years,
They are building the lens with which they interpret the world.
𝐀𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐝, 𝐈’𝐦 𝐅𝐀𝐑 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭,
But I think just having conscious awareness that they are absorbing,
Like a dehydrated sponge on the Sahara,
Certainly, makes me think about the role model I am.
A simple question to ask –
𝐃𝐨 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝/𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐞?
