WHERE’S YOUR STARTING POINT, MATE?
Long story short,
Felt a little fluey today
Did a test
𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐃
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, given the current spread rate.
But it made me grateful…
“𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘨𝘰𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺…”
𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭…
We’re all likely to get sick at some point in our life
This means, we’re all likely to face a battle of some sort
𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞…
So, if you got a ‘𝘬𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘴’ diagnosis, how would you fare?
I mean, what would be your starting point?
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝟏𝟎𝟎𝐦 𝐬𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞
If “𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡” mean you were starting on the normal start line
If “𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡” meant you were starting 20-30m before the normal start line
And if “𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡” meant you were start 20-30m ahead of the normal start line
𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞?
If one goal is to be round for your kids and grandkids,
How is your CURRENT weight, health and fitness likely to impact you when you face a predictable future struggle?
They say hindsight is 20-20
𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞…
